I'm a brain stem lesion person myself. What the others have said is so true Tony. You are bound to have a lot of mixed feelings about this for quite some time. I hope we can help you through the worst of it.
I believe I talked to you not long ago on the forum. I apologize that I wasn't able to be much help figuring out what you needed at that time but hope we all get another chance now.
Mary
This is a tough time, or at leist it can be. Know that you are not alone. Just because it has a name does not make it worse. Know you know what to fight. You have MS, it does not have you!
Prayers,
Ann
Sorry it is MS. I have brain stem involvement as well. You will go through a roller coaster of emotions for awhile. It is weird to accept this thing. I have had MS since early childhood but was not diagnosed until 2009 over 40 years later. I live an okay life. Every case of MS is different. The manin thing is take it one step at a time.

Well, shoot! I'm so sorry you have MS, but glad you know who your enemy is and can fight it with a DMD.
Take your time wrapping your mind around this. I'm sure you've experienced a range of emotions already, and it takes a while to integrate all of this.
Live well in spite of this MeSsy disease - that's my MO...
Sorry to hear you have MS. Are you starting a therapy for it?
