Shot in muscle???

I think my shot got me in my muscle in my arm yesterday. It was different than the typical stinging pain. My WHOLE arm was throbbing and aching and hurt to move it at all. And it left a bruise. It doesn't usually leave a bruise.

yes its fine today. just a tad bit sore on the bruise but thats it.
I checked the needle before i did the shot, it was still on 4.

at least i know it was indeed because it hit the muscle. thats what i thought.

i guess till i gain weight i will just have to stay away from that area of the arm. it was the lower part towards the elbow and i'm so stinking skinny there.

One of the other members here, HVAC, experienced the same thing. She had inadvertently moved the depth on her auto-injector to 10 for use on her arm  and described the same reaction with whole arm pain.

As you said it most likely went in the muscle and caused this reaction. I believe Alex said her arm was better the next day. Is yours improving as well?
