Somewhere in this multitude of posts, I thought I read that you were in remission. And yet, you have symptoms. I'm confused then. How can you have symptoms if you're in remission (or did I get this wrong?)

Also, saw your pictures, may I compliment you on your gorgeous embroidery; you have a remarkable talent! :-)

Hi Rena!

Oh, is that what a "rheumy" does? I've seen that word around here lately.

Yes, I do recall you saying that you were overmedicated, and it was so troublesome for you to get relief. I am genuinely sorry you are going through all of this.

Isn't it awful to not do what you love? I have done embroidery in my younger days, and have tried to teach my girls to sew. Did some mending the other day, and uh-ohhh, having trouble threading that needle. I think I need to go to the eye dr. too.

Hang in there, good luck with your next appt.! I really hope you can get some pain relief.

Hi Suzanne...1 MS specialist said that my symptoms are not caused by MS...she says my disease is not active.  I am still having nerve pain in my legs, trouble with eyesight, lack of equilibrium, and pain caused by the Paratrigeminal Neuralgia.

So far there has been no diagnosis as to what is causing my pain and I have been told that my last MS specialist had me overmedicated for this pain causing a myriad of other problems.

I am currently being slowly weaned from some of these meds and started on Lyrica instead of Neurontin.  My dr.'s have decided that this is going to be a long term pain syndrome with no name.

I will let you all know I guess if there is a decision made as to what the problem is.  I am being referred to a Rheumatologist to be looked at for Fibromyalgia at my request.

Other than that...life goes on I guess...

Thank you for the compliment on my embroidery!  You made my day that's for sure!  I love to do it but have had to put it down due to my deteriorating eyesight.

Hope I answered all your questions...let me know if you have any others ok?

Lots of Hugs,

Rena
