Spasticity?

Hi everyone, I did not think I had any issues with spasticity but lately I have been questioning tightness and weakness in my arms.

A physiatrist did a very thourough neuro exam in July and parts of it had not been done by my neuro. Specifically, I have brisk bicep deep tendon reflexes.

I was surprised at the time thinking I had not noticed any arm issues. I do notice muscle weakness in my arms and chalked it up to fatigue and anytime I got tightness or soreness I just thought I overdid it or was out of shape, now I'm wondering.

I don't notice any numbness or spasms but sometimes when my arm muscles are fatigued I need to keep my arms straight. I will also occasionally notice one hand being stiff.

Is this spasticity?

Thanks!
Corrie

I am not a doctor but it sounds like spasticity. There are several muscle relaxers that work well Baclofen or Zanflex. I learn what my limits are but I seldom stop before I get there so Zanflex is my friend.
