question about foot spasms

I have been having alot of foot spasms that are not going away.   When my wife feels the soles of my feet, she said it feels like there are rocks under my skin.  So trying to walk with them is very painful.  I basically can't walk much.  I even get shooting pains from my feet even when I am sitting down.

Last night, my wife noticed that I was having spasms in T12 area and when she rubbed them, I could feel it in my feet.  It was changing the nature of the spasm.  And when she rubs the soles of my feet to try and get the spasm out, I can feel sensations all the way up to my spine.

Does this mean there is nerve inflammation?  Dumb question I guess, but why do I feel things going up and down from my feet to the spine at T12 area?   I am hoping I can limp through the Portland airport!!

During a spasm I have my hubby rub (and I try not to hit him coz LORD that hurts!) IcyHot into the muscles. Then I wrap it in a heating pad. That does seem to shorten them anyway. I take baclofen too.

ARE YOU ON ANY SPASMATIC MEDS?

TRY TONIC WATER,IT DOES HELP,OH HECK THROW SOME GIN IN WITH IT.ONLY KIDDING.

FOR THE SPASMS , AS PAINFUL AS IT SEEMS TRY STRETCHING,FOR THE THORACIC SPASMS,TRY BENDING OVER AND JUST DANGLE WITH YOUR HANDS POINTING TOWARDS THE FLOOR,DON'T FORCE BY TOUCHING THE FLOOR.THEN BACK UP AND REPEAT THIS ABOUT 10 TIMES IF YOU CAN.
I GET PARASPINAL SPASMS AND THIS DOES HELP RELEIVE SOME OF THE SPASMS.

FOR THE FOOT,FLEX AND RELEASE,WHILE LAYING DOWN OR SITTING IN A RECLINER WITH THE FOOT REST UP,OR STAND BY THE KITCHEN COUNTER AND DO TOE UPS AND DOWNS.

I KNOW THESE SOUND A LITTLE OFF THE WALL BUT THEY DO HELP,I PROMISE,BUT ITS NOT A CURE ALL OVER NIGHT AND THESE SHOULD BE DONE NUMEROUS TIMES OVER THE COARSE OF THE DAY.

ESS GAVE YOU A GREAT THOUGHT FOR THE AIRPORT,DON'T TRY TO PUSH IT THROUGH THE AIRPORT IF NOT NECCESARY.

I know you were joking around when you talked about limping through the airport, but still, why should you? Airports can involve very long walks. It is easy to arrange for a wheelchair to be available both going and coming. My friend with post-polio syndrome does this, because although she doesn't need a wheelchair under most circumstances, she's wiped out from walking long distances.

Why don't you consider this?
