Strep Throat anyone?

Hey, here in KS we had 85 degree weather on Monday, and will have only 50 degree weather today, oh the joy of "Fall"ing into Winter.

Still 2 full months away from Medicare, i.e. no health insurance, I appear to have a medical problem, and wish your ideas, please.  I haven't felt well, the last few days, with no temperature, but swollen tonsils that are dark red, and a sore throat, appear to be the signs or symptoms of strep throat.

Home remedies, that you believe may work, would be deeply appreciated.

Thank you, for your time, consideration, and cooperation, I truly appreciate it.

Hey Stan - Warm salt water usually does the trick if it's from post nasal drip. Had that myself last month. Morning, noon and night. But, you have to get it intime (I'm sure you know), and like most things if it doesn't go away, can fester. Hope it's nothing bacterial while you are uninsured.

Do you have any walk in clinics? Some of the pharmacies we have that in our state are called minute clinics (operate our of our CVS pharmacy) and can prescribe for general issues, strep included.

You can look them up on the net!
