Surgery again for DJ

Hi all,
Just a quick note to let you know that Shadowsister (DJ) is having her second morphine pump surgery bright and early Friday morning.  This is to replace the pump with a smaller unit that will tuck under her skin better.  Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers tomorrow.

I called DJ on Saturday to check on her.  She is home - she won't stay in the hospital because they want her to sleep in a bed and she needs her recliner - they did the surgery as an outpatient procedure.  She was in immense pain so we spoke for less than a minute.  She promised she would call when she is feeling a touch better.  

She said the surgery went fine and the new pump is implanted correctly.  Here's hoping it does the trick with the pain and slows the spasms.

By now your surgery is over and you are recovering.  You are in my thoughts and prayers right now.  I also hope and pray that your doctor was able to accomplish everything that needed to be done in surgery so that you can be more comfortable and able to do the things you have been wanting to do for so long.
