Update on SandyW

Dear kind folks here,

Today continues to be sad, on top of MaryKay's lung cancer news  ...

SandyW (pretty purple butterfly icon) was here for a brief while with MS symptoms on top of heart issues.   I know she appreciated the warm reception she received as well as the good advice.  Our womenheart forum just got this note from one of our members:

" received this message from Sandy W's family this morning....... I am not sure who sent it, but I believe they thought we would want to know. Let's keep her in our thoughts and prayers heart sisters( family) Let's send the family our well wishes.........

Sandy had a heart attack Oct 23 at home, and another one Oct 27 in the hospital. She was in ICU for 18 days and has almost no memory at this time. I do not know when or if she will come out of the hospital."

I'm sure you will hold Sandy and her family close in your thoughts as she struggles.

As always,
Lulu

I remember reading the post about Sandy last year.  This is truly an inspiring story and I hope and pray that Sandy is recovering well enough to have a quality of life after what she went through.  Thanks for sharing her progress with us.

I don't know if I was aware of this when it was originally posted - but what a story!  Another amazingly strong woman who inspires!

Thanks for the update & I will be sending Sandy healing thoughts!

Hi all,
I just recerived the most amazing gift.  I was passing through the women heart group over on inspire and I found a post this week from Sandy. Although not completely well, she survived this ordeal and has been piecing her life back together over the past year.  There is significant memory loss and other problems, but she is still walking this earth.

She spent a lengthy time on life support and has been slowly rehabbing to this point.  If she returns here, I'm sure she will share more of the details.

I just had to share this news....
