Nothing is proven to help the MS. Low vitamin D may cause MS ( jury is still out) but once you have MS vitamin D is not going to help MS. That said a balanced diet is good for over all health. I have had all my vitamin level, glucose, cholesterol etc. and they are all great because I have a good diet an exercise. If you have MS you want your over all health to be good.

Alex is spot on with her answer - a healthy diet will make us feel better - improved cholesterol, heart function, skin tone, etc are all benefits of a healthy diet.  And all of that can make us feel better.  But none of that will change the fact that we have MS.

I am a big advocate of finding complementary therapies to use along with the traditional MS treatments.  I have regular massage and acupuncture.  I love aromatherapy, too.  These help me maintain balance, relax and focus on myself and being healthy.

Aromatherapy, massage, acupuncture, reiki anything that can help with symptoms great. As far as helping the disease these are all anecdotal. Most have been scientifically studied.

I have tried most. I do use hypnosis for stress and pain management. Exercise such as yoga is known to help symptoms as well.

Thanks Alex. That's too bad.  What about aromatherapy? Anything about that?
