Thanks everyone - you are the best!

Dear forum members,
You've probably noticed lately that the purple flowers (community co-leaders) have been a bit scarce lately.

I would like to say we're just trying to prove the point that you all really don't need us - that you are a very smart group of MS consumers and can run this forum without any outside intervention.    Part of this statement is very true - but we really aren't trying to prove a point.

Quix has been busy being the contractor on her home renovation.
Ess has been under the weather
Shell has been swamped with the day-to-day stuff of being a mom with very active children

and I have no legit excuse, except I am enjoying lots of little trips here and there and making the most of my summer vacation away from work.

The second part of that statement is VERY TRUE - you are all so much wiser than the majority of people dealing with MS.  And hands-down you are the most compassionate group I have the pleasure of knowing.

Please put your arms around yourself and take a big hug from me and my co-cl's as a thanks for working so hard to make our new visitors feel welcome and our old ones supported.

We always have suspected that you really don't need us here to make this forum work- and you've done a good job of proving us right!  :-)

I'm off to Cleveland for another short trip  and will be home on Friday- I'll check in but am counting on all of you to keep things humming here.  I'm sure you will see a few flowers pop up here and there as schedules permit.

You are the best!

lots of love and thanks,
Lulu

Even when I'm unable to post, or just catching up reading, I miss the direct contact with everyone.

We need each other so very much, and count on each other's experiences and knowledge all the time.  This is well said, just wanted you all to know that you are all what make this forum the best and most special MS forum there is.

Thank you for the reminder, all who contribute so much when ever you can.

Hugs to all,
Shell

Thanks all.  The kind words are appreciatd.  I had a great lunch with Michelle - food and company were exceptional.  I'll leave the details to her.

PD- you're right about Velvet - a biit out of the way this trip. So I may have to settle for Jeni's in Columbus or Culver's.  yummmmmmmm.

Velvet Ice Cream, to my knowledge, is in Utica, just south of where U.S. 62 and some other route (maybe Ohio 13?) cross.  Northeast of Johnstown, south or southeast of Mount Vernon, and probably north of Newark.  If you're coming down from Cleveland on I-71, I'd want to get out my map before I'd suggest a route.  I could easily be unaware of another location for a store of theirs, though.

I'm a half hour or so west of Mount Vernon (where I spent much of Sunday and Monday), but on Thursday evening I expect to be back at Nancy's church for more Vacation Bible School.  That's closer to Marion, so unless you really want to really go out of your DH's way, I guess we'll wait to meet on the next trip.  Either way, we pray your journey will be safe and pleasant.  Tell Michelle we're praying for her, too.

PD- it sounds like you could stand on the roadside and wave to us as we motor past, somewhat like the  tour de Cleveland?  LOL

we pass back through Thursday late - trying to figure out if we can get to the Velvet Icecream store on the way home ... is that close?

everyone else, keep up the good work.

Yeah, what they said.  When do you expect to be buzzing back through this way?  I am between Delaware and Mount Gilead, about 6 or 7 miles west of I-71 and Ohio 61.

If we are wiser it is because of what we have learned on this forum.

Enjoy your trip.

Never underestimate the power of that flower. You are right there are folks here that are also brilliant, it's a wonderful community. But you guys really do pull it all together. Debs is right - seeing that flower on an answer somehow makes it special.

In turn we know that you all have lives too and also suffer this MonSter - so enjoy your break Luku but don't think you won't be missed because you will be.

Love
Pat

Dearrest Lulu,

You go and have a lovely time in Cleveland - we will miss you, your always there for us with your flower :)

I don't know what it is, but it's such a lovely feeling to have a flower when a question is posted - makes you feel so good inside - for me personally anyway ;)))))) and I'm sure others feel the same way too.

Take a chill pill, and relax, we'll bumble along..........

Sending big hugs,

Debs xxxxx
