I'M REALLY GLAD YOU SEEN A GOOD MS SPECIALIST AT THE CC.
I KNOW MANY HAVE HAD DIFFERENCES WITH DRS. AT THE CC. I SEE 3 FROM DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS THERE.ONLY ONE WAS A JERK.
THE HEAT INTOLERANCE NEEDS REPORTED AND DOCUMENTED TO ONE OF YOUR DRS.
I DISLIKE SEEING ANYONE DEALING WITH SURGICAL PROCESSES,BUT IF IT GIVES A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE,THEN ITS ALL WORTH IT.
YOUR DRS. SEEM TO BE GETTING THE BALL ROLLING AND THATS A PLUS FOR A DX

Your UGLY episode needs to be reported to your docs. If the symptoms coincided with you being hot - were you? - and the resolution coincided with cooling off, then heat intolerance sounds like an answer. But, I still worry about things like a TIA.
GOOD - Yes! This guy sounds like the kind of doc that will look for answers and be skilled and smart enough th see them. And , you KNOW I giggled when he made the issue about the 1.5T.
BAD - Do you really really want those ovaries??? lol. What a pain and I, also, would be loathe to put you under the knife again, especially knowing that the whole thing could occur again. I gave up my ovaries at 41. I really fear ovarian Ca. But, that's just me.
I think you are making progress, kid.
Q
I am so sorry about the ovarian problems. How heartbreaking for you to have to deal with two problems.
Concerning the instant menopause, please read on the internet about hormones and MS. Testosterone seems to help with men with MS, and estrogen with women and MS. You could check with the neurologist at the next appt.
Good Luck. Please let us know when you find out and I will keep you in my prayers.

To make a long story some what short...
I started feeling lower abdominal pressure pain in May of this year on the left side. I was also having trouble going the bathroom. I was also have a feeling of bloating...(I don't have a uterus because of a hysterectomy so I knew something was up). Eventually I developed a large hemoraging ovarian cyst and I ended losing my left ovary.
A few weeks later after my surgery, I started getting the same lower abdominal pressure pain again and I went back to the doctors. They did an ultrasound and confirmed that I developed another ovarian cyst on my last, right remaining ovary. They wanted to see if it would go away on it's own.. (it didn't)..and several months ago they gave me a Deprovera shot to see if it would shrink the ovary...(My best guess after today is that it didn't)...so now, according to my doctors, the only option is the removal of the ovary and cyst and that means instant menopause for me.
Wow, a good doctor at CC!!! I am glad to hear that someone took your concerns seriously and will help you. Lulu is right...December is not that far away.
About the cyst, what kinds of problems did that cause to alert you to it?
Concerning the heat, Craig got lightheaded and felt faint when he drove on hot days this year, and had to cool off the car before he could drive it.
Best wishes with your future tests.
Elaine
Hi SB,
for the UGLY, please be sure to let your doctors know about the problem - you may have something else neurological going on that needs to be looked at.
The BAD - the cyst sounds bad and so does a legthy hospitalization but what else are you going to do? If it needs to come out surgically then that's what you'll have done because you have those kids and the future to think of as well as the present.
The GOOD sounds great - I am so glad he was accomodating to you and listened to your full story. What a beautiful day to make the trip to CC.... December is not that far off - the time will fly before you know it you will be back up there for the additional tests.
I'm happy for you - enjoy these last days of Indian Summer!
Your neighbor,
Lulu
