Hi. I am a 34 year old female. I had a non-contrast brain MRI mainly for frequent headaches (2-3/week for YEARS) and deep aching leg pain bilaterally since 2010. Most of the MRI was unremarkable. I need some help understanding one particular paragraph. I intend on discussing the results with my neurologist but I don't see her for a month.
"There is normal gray-white matter differentiation. A couple of punctate 1 mm foci of hyperintense FLAIR signal are present in the juxtacortical white matter of the posterior superior frontal lobes. Findings are new when compared to prior study"
Does anyone have any insight about the significance of this, if any?
Has anyone had this?
Any input would be appreciated and, as I mentioned, I WILL be following up with my neurologist.
Thanks!
