Have been gone for a bit...

I've been so busy at work and home the last few weeks that I haven't been on the board much.  When I've had a chance I've read posts, but haven't had the time or energy to respond.

My oldest had H1N1.  Luckily nothing severe, but 16 days of on and off fever and headache!  I thought the rest of us had escaped it, but my cough, which started out as a dry irritating cough, got worse last week.  I've been so completely exhausted since Friday, then this weekend the cough got very productive and painful.  I ended up going to the ER last night with a "borderline" temp (99.7).  Luckily there was no pseumonia, but I was wheezing a bit (they didn't hear me earlier in the day when my husband could hear me wheezing over the phone) and they gave me an inhaler.  I've had exercise induced asthma, and never really thought of using the inhaler for this, but it's helped a lot.  The ER doctor seemed to think the pain and pressure in my chest were muscle spasms from the cough/asthma.

Just wanted to say hi and that I've been reading your posts when I can, even if I haven't had a chance to respond, and I'm thinking of all of you.

Stephanie

Please get better soon!  I know that cough and it is MISERABLE!  I hope you have not effects from the infection, like a relapse.
