Raw burning pain - how to get rid of it or ease it ??

I did some volunteering friday night and saturday morning. then spent the whole day saturday, visiting and having fun with a creepy crawl. yes there was some walking and standing. i knew i was pushing myself to stay upright.Sunday i could barely get up but had a meeting to go to and did. I also came home and crashed.

Today I didn't hear any of the 6 alarms and was late to work. left calf and behind knee hard as a rock and hurting. hobbling around trying to get work done. inside left thigh and part of the top of thigh feels like it has be scalded raw.
thinking is real slow. I can't be in denial today that this is all part of getting older (ha, all of 50). my friends say i'm just a pup. well if so i am a whipped pup.

I tend to minimizing how I feel and what is going on but not today.  i did to much saturday and my body is telling me something is not right. I tried doing my stretching and tried going to sleep, but the pain and the raw burning feeling is getting to me bad. I don't know what to do about it and it seems to be getting worse. Thought maybe some of you might have some ideas.

Thanks
TG

yes, i've take some flexeril and a lortab. it helps some and makes my calf and lower leg bearable, almost.

the burning raw thigh thing is something else. i've not had happen before. feels like i poured hot coffee in my lap.  the burning is like the skin is raw and it isn't.

a stabbing pain has started but it doesn't last long. thankfully it comes and goes and is like the hot poker stabbing i get from my foot up the leg. not use to it in such a ahhh private part.

i tried ice, cool shower, tried to just go to sleep.

guess i'll need to call the neuro or pcp and see if i can get in before my appointment on the 10th.

thanks paula

TG,

Have you contacted your neuro or PCP to discuss this with them? Sounds like you need some medical advice from them.

I once had a constant muscle spasm, but not sure if that is what is happening to you or not. Do you have muscle relaxers? Or maybe a good massage may help or some warm running water on it. Not sure what else to tell you except to rest it and call your doctors.

I hope you find some kind of relief from this.
