Tysabri for SPMS

This release last week announced that Tysabri is now in Phase 3 studies for use in treating SPMS.  That has to be good news for anyone following the ASCEND trial.  You can read the details at -

I am conducting my own, personal study on the benefits of Tysabri in conjunction with SPMS. I had my 3rd infusion on Sunday :-)

I fail to understand why this is news when the FDA has already approved it for use in that form of MS and has...well, at least since my dx a year ago.
