Update for Sailorsong -somewhat MS related

probably not MS related, unless we are thinking mental health and calmness
I hear the lawn calling me, now that prednisone has ON under control enough for me to see between the rows of dandelions.......anyone have a wine recipe for those fellows?

We won't discuss the little raccoon who shinnies up my bird feeder pole and trashes it and the hummingbird feeder every night. Am going to have to sit out there with my BB gun and convince him the store is off limits........
deer in the yard this morning, hummers are fighting over the feeder, guess they can't count how many flowers are available, blueberries are in bloom
and its a lovely 54 degrees, shirt sleeve weather! Except for my muscle spasm which woke me this morning.......grr

Relax no Roundup. If we did we wouldn't have what looks like a green lawn from the street,lol. Yes, DH does mow over them but no we do not use commercial pesticides since we have an organic garden and compost pile.
We also have a pond at the end of our property(not legally ours but the owners are kind). We have apple trees , pear, pecan , walnut amd a lot of pine and maple trees.
Our little golden acre and a half.....

please, Ren, no RoundUp, I have 10 acres of beautiful dandelions and wild strawberries and wild roses along with the 15 in wild apples plus the pond and the trees..........God's country as we call it.

Sorry, no wine recipe but my DH has plenty of Round-up. We have deer come all the way up to our back porch . We also have squirrels, rabbits, an occasional fox, possums and hawks that prey on the birds gobbling up the seed fro the bird feeder.
We have geese on our property as well. The hummingbirds are visiting for the first time this year. Nice addition to our still- in- progress back patio and flower garden.
For years we had a big vegetable garden with corn, okra (GA food), green beans , cabbage , carrots, yellow squash , zucchini, tomatoes, and jalapeno peppers. We literally feed the local deer population that was being pushed out of their natural habitat by new building.
It's great to sit on your back patio with cool breezes after a hot day and watch nature at work with your favorite beverage in hand.

I saw a couple of deer last night on my way home from getting a Milk Shake in town. They were about 1/4 mile from my home. Every once in a while I will see a few deer from my Kitchen window, but I don't spend much time in there.
