yes, it is the Gamma Gobulin.... it is 4.8, ............ and they said it was decreased... but, how much , from what, I don't  know, where they get their numbers.

It was suggested more testing, but, of COURSE , I have not yet heard from the Dr.   I got my results mailed to me, so, the Dr's, both the ordering Neruo, and lmy GP , will have the results,
I will be calling them by the end of next week, if I don't hear from them.

This is the part that really bugs me............ why can't they call and let us know, why do we have to do all the work... grrrrrr !!!

Will let you know what and when I hear anything....

Cheers,
Candy

Hi Candy!

Did the doc call yet? I'm with JumpinJ - a hematologist is in order where matters of the blood are concerned.

Gamma as in gammaglobulin? If you have a low gammaglobulin, that would mean your antibodies are low.

I haven't been following your story, but my gammas came back low which did prompt further testing  and referral to a hematologist to look over the results and make recommendations. She ran another test called quantitative immunoglobulins to measure which group of antibodies were out of range. They all came back normal on the next test.

It might help them, it might not. But it does lead to more testing.
