Thank you so much for your information, I will be calling my doctor to set up an appointment to have some blood work done.
Again, Thank you soooo much.

Yes, a vitamin B 12 deficiency can cause parathesias. Has your level been checked recently? If not, I would request one from your PCP.
B12 deficiency is one of the MS mimics that needs to be ruled out as MS is a disease of exclusion meaning all other sources of illness that cause your set of symptoms have been ruled out.

I am not dx with ms, still in limbo, but I get the vibrating cell phone under my left foot, left shin, and left hip. Just recently I felt in in my left pinky. As you can see, so far my vibrating / buzzing all happens on my left side.
I have not been diagnosed with MS. I was just concerned. A neurologist friend said it could be a Vitamin B12 Deficiency???
Hi,
What you are describing sounds like a paresthesia which is caused by a faulty nerve transmission. The page link below is to the Health Pages in the upper right hand corner next to the yellow icon. The link to the specific one you need is listed below:
http://www.medhelp.org/health_pages/Multiple-Sclerosis/Paresthesias---Things-That-Go-BUZZ-in-the-Night/show/378?cid=36
Come back if you still have questions. Most of us call the vibrating cellphone sensation and it can occur ANYWHERE. Medications can help with these sensations. Ask your neuro about these
Good Luck,
Ren
