Weekends around this forum

Hi everyone - especially people who are just discovering this special place on the web for people with MS or questions about MS.

The weekends around here get rather quiet with our regulars - daily life kicks into full gear on the weekend and everyone is off doing assorted activities with family and friends, and our activity level slows to a crawl sometimes.

Don't be discouraged if you post a question and don't get an immediate response - someone will eventually pass through and offer their thoughts.

Even if it is quiet for a while, we really are here for you!

be well,
Lulu

Hi lovelife82!

Welcome to our forum. Sorry about the diagnosis. I am recently diagnosed (12/27/11) and started Copaxone on 02/02/12. I have learned a lot here on the forum. Hope you do too :)

If you've got the time and inclination, it would be great to hear more about you. You could start an "introduction" post on the main page.

I hope your ON is under control now. Did you do a run of steroids for it or are you just waiting it out?

And the opposite is true - there are many people new to this who have questions they desperately want answers for and it is the weekend and no doctors are around. They find us and hope someone is reading and responding.

Happy Saturday!!!

Here and There is more like it Shello

Isn’t it amazing that so many people with so many problems during the week can disappear so completely when the weekend comes round?
Not a criticism!

IT’S A GOOD THING!!
PwMS can and DO continue to enjoy life - especially on weekends.

Holidays off??  I get chances to work all of them.  No day, date, weather, nation or celebration need feel excluded.

Happy Family Day weekend for those in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario.  Happy Louis Riel weekend for those in Manitoba.  And Happy Islander weekend to those in PEI.  Sorry for the rest of Canadians who don't get a holiday on Monday. :(   but BC, you get Family Day starting next year!  :)
