Welbutrin XL 150 mg recall

Mediguard.org is a great site - you register your list of drugs and they will notify you if there is any conflict and also advise you when there is a recall on a drug you may have on your list.  They have sent me that notice a number of times over the years that pertain to my own drugs.

Today there was a notice about a lot of Wellbutrin XL 150 that has been recalled. The recall has only happened at the warehouse and pharmacy level but you might want to know that the problem is this batch doesn't disolve when ingested.  That's pretty significant if you are on this antidepressent.  You can get the details at -

http://www.mediguard.org/r/08rxpqBhQZ6

you can register your drugs at mediguard.org

be smart, stay informed-

This really is a good site and will flag drugs that may have negative interactions. They have sent me notices before and email reminders to update my lists.

Thank you for letting us know about the website, Lulu54! I'm about to go on Copaxone and have had a little voice in the back of my head telling me I should double check to make sure it doesn't conflict with another med I've been taking for years. My neurologist is brilliant and aware of all my meds, but I'm a huge fan of double checking things like this. You are the best!

Thank you so much for the website. The two pharmasist where I get my meds filled, laugh at me (and with me), because I question EVERYTHING!! I am so paranoid about mixing meds. Even if I add an OTC med.
So, again thank you. My pharmacist thank you too......lol

Hey LuLu,

Thanks for the info!  And thanks for telling us about that website - I had no idea it existed.  What a great service, and well worth whatever time it will take to enter necessary info on the meds we are on.  I sometimes get updates on meds through a different site, but it's general info - not specific to what you personally take.

As usual, you are on the ball, and full of info to educate and help us!  Hope you are having a good week.... :-)
