What do I do next?

kl6
I have been a migraine sufferer since the age of 14 and am now 54. I have had an mri in the past that was normal approx 8 years ago. Now my mri shows non specific changes. I have been very fatigued over the last year and just attributed it to alot of stress. My mother had migraines as well and now alzheimers. I am scared to death that these mri changes are the beginning of alzheimers. Can someone help with this info. My eeg was normal and I had an MRA today, which I don`t know the results of. MS was given as a possibility when I looked up non specific MRI changes.

I hope you get too see a Dr soon to find out... non specific changes could mean anything or nothing at all... so don't worry yourself and let the Neuro tell you results... it could be from Migraines..??

hard for us to say online... OK..

Hey there. Only a Neurologist can sort out the MRI. There are also more benign reasons for MRI changes besides MS.  I remember how scary not knowing anything is. Try not to think worst case scenarios. I freaked myself out unnecessarily. I lived in fear and it did me no good.

Do you have an appointment with a Neurologist?
