Pat I sure wish I could send it your way or least a good dousing of rain. I'm sorry to here it has been so bad there.
It was really pretty this morning have my coffee though. Everything was white and clean looking. It pretty much melted through the day but they are calling for a chance of wet flurries again tonight so I may wake up to it in the morning again. The trees were all sparkling from the sun shining on the snow and it really did look like a postcard picture. Kind of took my mind off my problems for a while.
I like the magic snow idea Johnny, but where I live I don't see that happening in the near future. haha It's a little early yet to have this so I'm hoping that means we get an Indian Summer now and that it lasts until the week before X-mas. Just gotta have snow for Christmas. lol

Hey, your family has a few more bucks than me too!! I'm less than 10 miles from downtown La Jolla, but our houses are a bit cheaper. :)
As a native San Diegan, I'm embarrased to say that I've only been in snow a couple of times. Very lovely to look at though!!!
I might as well be there, its not a lot warmer in Maine and we had a dusting of snow the other night. I actually like snow. I like to look at it out the window, when I'm driving its nice (except two days later when its dirty), I don't even mind it when I go on vacation. I just want it to go away like magic when I open my front door. It should instantly turn to 80 and sunny. We can call it magic snow. In a few years when global warming catches up to us maybe there will be a market for magic windows that give the illusion of snow and seasons.
6-paq, San Diego is the bomb! Great weather, sorry to hear about all the fires, tell those idiots to stop lighting them. Oh well, fires suck, hopefully you and your family are fine. My family has homes in San Diego and up the road on the ocean in La Jolla and Del Mar. Yeah, they got a few more bucks than me.

I'm in San Diego and have been experiencing the fires/heat/smoke. We all would love to have some of that snow down this way!!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend! Take care, Pat :)
