I have gradually lost my sense of touch in my whole body for the last four months. It started as tingling, then became a loss of sensation in my hands and feet, then my arms and legs, and then to my back, neck, nipples, and private area. I can still feel different textures and temperatures, although considerably altered. No longer ticklish.
Took an MRI scan of my head and back, also taken blood samples which show I do not have a high blood sugar or any vitamin deficiencies (although a slightly low level of vit D, nothing serious the doctor said). The doctors can't seem to find out what causes the numbness, and suggest that it's psychological, but my psychologist shook his head, he didn't understand it either.
In addition I have had a sensitive stomach to alcohol and acidic food for the last year which causes my left upper stomach to feel uncomfortable. Could there be a link between my stomach and my numbness? Also took antibiotics two months before this started. Feeling fatigued very often.
Starting from now cutting out gluten, and taking Jarrow Methyl-B12. - Don't know if it will help, but I have to try something.
