Shell and Deb,
Thanks. I am feeling normal for me. Nothing big going on. Over the past year I have lost the ability to go back on my right heel. Now I am not able to go back on my left heel, walk heel to toe, or go up on my toes.
I was diagnosed with MS in February and have been on Avonex since. I don't know if others check to see if they can do these simple tests or not. Maybe I am too obsessed.
I am having some problems with my vision also. Not ON type of problems. I think my ON is improved greatly. I see my MS doctor soon.
I am going to check out that web site.
Thanks!
LA :)
I can't do this either. I have a lot of pain in my feet as well. I looked this up and found that the test for walking on your toes is for testing for plantar flexion weakness. The test for walking on your heels is for testing for dorsiflexion weakness. See this site:

Hey there,
I hope this is just temporary for you. When did it start? Did you jot it down for the Dr? How are you feeling otherwise?

Hi,
Avonex is a DMD. I will take my 31st injection this evening.
