What is up this week?

Today my husband and I are going to get me to a Dr. I am not as bad but not better.
I had a bunch of meetings planned but canceled last week. I have been quiet all week end which is weird for me.
I even canceled riding.

Hubby's birthday today, so caked iced this a.m. Working, ramming, dinner, etc., etc.

No appts for me. Juuuust the one I had in a dream where I went to my neuro unscheduled, he hugged me and told me everything was going to be ok, lol

That he'd FIX me.
Is that weird or what? hahaha

I see my neuro tomorrow morning to find out the results of my MRI. I could not find the image that had me worried when I looked at the pictures again yesterday (I was wanting to ask about that specific image so I was trying to get the series and image number) So, although I *know* I saw it...and DH also saw it and asked about it, I'm not worried about it now. I figure if it was anything, it would show up on multiple images.

Besides the appointment tomorrow, I don't have much planned. Schoolwork. Cleaning. Maybe some grocery shopping. You are all jealous of my glamorous life, aren't you? :-p

We were away the weekend when we returned there was a letter from my GP surgery to make an appointment. So Monday I was at the GP's really he want to catch up on what was going on. And to help me increase the dose of amitriptyline I was given when I saw the consultant last week.
Tomorrow I have an appointment with a rehabilitation consultant. I'm not sure what to expect.
then on Friday I have a flu vaccine booked.
It's also a busy week at work.

Saw the neuro sleep specialist today.  He's going to up my CPAP settings a notch.  He doesn't think the Provigil or Nuvigil have anything to do with my irregular heart rate and fluctuating BP and HR.  He's not crazy about me taking a beta blocker as it is just one more thing to increase my fatigue (me too doc).

Now I'll call the cardiologist's office tomorrow.  The beta blocker had been controlling the arrhythmia and symptoms but not so much lately.  I'll have to see if they have a new plan.

The local dog whisperer is coming Wednesday for a evaluation so I can get a little more respect from at least one being in this house.

Another day of computer classes for work on Thursday.  How my eyes hate that!

Friday the hubby will have rotator cuff surgery.  Oh fun.  Heal fast hon.  I work the weekend.

Good luck Alex.  Are they doing the chemical stress test on you?  You don't have to battle the treadmill or bike do you?  That IV exercise can be just as tough though.

Definite flare in my MS...hubby stayed home today to take care of me. Waiting 2 weeks between ketamine  infusions is NOT working. I'm in misery from the pain. Can't wait for Wednesday and the next infusion!!!

UTI is clearing up!!! Yeah!!!

Had to cancel a trip to Trader Joe's due to my flare. Disappointed since the only one here is quite a distance and ten they were eating lunch at The Cheesecake Factory..rats!

ALEX : Please keep us informed! You're not a complainer and when you do, it's worrisome.

Wishing all a good week!

Both of my daughters, their husbands, and my 15 month old Grandson are comming home for the weekend.

We're going to put them to work cleaning and tarping the boat for the winter. We assemble a structure to support the tarp which requires a lot of climbing up ladders and screwing the pieces together, very dangerous work for someone as uncoordinated as me, so it'll be great to have the help.

I'm looking forward to seeing them!

I'm still waiting on insur. approval for a c-spine MRI. I've only had one and it was 1 1/2 yrs ago. (Need to check in on my lesion between C4-6 and see if anything new is going on.

Also waiting for an appt to be set-up for a cognitive function test. I called to check on it and that doctor isn't taking any more patients right now. So need to find out from neuro, who else can do it.

On Sun going to have Thanksgiving early with my brothers before one of them heads to MN to visit his wife's family.

Waiting for response on a settlement offer that I worked on for two weeks, so I might actually get something else done this week, besides writing sermon.  Hope to job-hunt.  Would like to believe there's something out there.  Would like to do more wiring at home, but most pressing DIY project might be replacing the back door, which is a long story.  No medical scheduled and none on my list to schedule; lately just giving thanks for the degree of health with which we've been blessed.  Praying the same for all y'all.

Alex

Thanks for updating and sorry you are not feeling so good, but you are a great example to us all to listen to our body when you know something is not right. Take care and let us know how you get on with cardiac workup (sounds hard work!)

I have nothing very exciting going on and have just spent a lovely relaxing day with a friend at a spa and had a wonderful massage/facial. Bliss

Just a medically quiet week for me - baby Alice and mom  will come home, probably tuesday, so I hope to get some extra grandma time in.

Wednesday is the local MS annual dinner meeting - our walk team is getting a bronze award for the amount of money we raised.  Not bad for a first time effort.

Tuesday night is a LATE basketball game - 9 PM tipoff so I will be dragging on Wednesday.

Obviously I don't have time to be sick this week!

Alex, let us know what the doctor says.  Feel better, Ok?

Lulu
