What to do now?

Last year I had an MRI of my brain, I am 50 yrs old...came back normal is all that I was told. However, I can't take a shower without having to rest my arms when I lift them to shampoo my hair because the weakness is so bad. Same thing with bending and climbing the stairs or reaching for something. I have to stop and take a breather to overcome the weak feelings.  I have been getting muscle spasms in my left thigh at night when I am lying in bed feels like something alive is inside of my leg moving around and now I am having these awful spinning episodes of vertigo in the morning when I wake up, if I position my head the wrong way, WOW!  I found if I reposition my head and stay with it and look downward they pass after a while. Every doctor I have seen has been telling me I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.  And they only come to this conclusion when they can't figure out why I am so weak and fatigued. Should I find another neurologist for a second opnion or just see my PCP for the morning vertigo and weakness?

yes, if you can tell us abit more about your symptoms, how long do they last etc.  How many tests have you had...blood tests, Rheumotologist, Neuro, ENT for the dizziness?  Have you seen these specialist?

I would keep track of your symptom, and if you don't feel better, let your GP know and get another opinion.

I have to say that CFS is a very real diagnosis. It can be extremely challenging to live with.

Are you symptoms constant? How long has this been going on? A little more history would be great!! :)
