I had my botox done in July and am on the schedule to do it again this Friday - it was 200 units and I was thrilled with the results. It is certainly liberating to not have to worry where the next pit stop can be made.
I had some discomfort for about 24 hours after the procedure, but then all was good.
I'm back to having normal sdden urges to go so I know it's time to do this again.
Kat, i hope it goes well and will look for your update.

Going to do a 100 units then next time she can increase if need be. I cant imagine going to the bathroom 20 times a day glad its worked for you and you enjoyed your vacation
How many unit of Botox will you be getting?
I had the procedure done in July using 100 units and it was like heaven for the first time in a long time! It only lasted about 2-3 months though. Did the procedure again in January and used 200 units this time. The first week was fine but then I started retaining. Of course the MD said it could happen, and would last anywhere from a day to a week. A month later I am still having to cath on a regular basis, 3-4x per day. This will now probably be my norm for a couple of months.
On the flip side, we went to Hawaii on vacation last week, and I didn't spend the entire time there scoping out every bathroom everywhere we went, which for someone who pee'd 20 times a day and got up 5 times a night, is not so bad! In my case, I have to look at the bright side.
Will still do Botox again, but maybe 150 units next time.
I eat then bout half hour I take pill but the pains dont come till several hours later wakes me up. Gonna try prilosec beforehand too
Hello, Kat:
I had some very mild GI issues early on with Tecfidera. It was limited to minor stomach pains but lots of gas. Sorry to be crude. It all subsided after a few days. Are you eating before taking it?
Eric
Hi Kat,
I also had a lot of stomach issues with Tecfidera. The pharmacist suggested 2 weeks on low dose (am&pm), then 2 weeks low dose in am and high dose in pm. Then onto the full high dose twice daily. I was able to tolerate it then.
Now I'm doing great on it. I hope this helps. Best of luck with your procedure.
Regards, barb
