Jennie here, from Massachusetts
diagnosed yesterday
I think this forum is priceless.... I not sure if this is an embarassment but I did have an MRI that was scary because I'm overweight and I really didn't think I would fit in the tube. Once I got in, I was sure I wouldn't get out!! I did, and thankfully, because I had two more MRIs that same month in the same tube. No more panic since I knew I wouldn't get stuck!!! What a way to really know that I need to lose some pounds!!! :p

Ok we should do something now like most embaressing neuro appt...
One time my mom gave me a ride too my neuro when I still wasnt driving. I half dressed myself that day. put my bra on but didn't put my boobs all the way in my bra. I was sooooooo tired that day and I was all slunched over.
So my mom reaches over and pushes on one of my 4 boobs and says whats this. so of course the doctor starts poking too they are both poking my boob And I sat there in a fog and I am trying to remember why I have 4 boobs. Then I realized that my bar was half on half off I leaned forward shimmyed my boobs in place and when my boobs turned back into 2 boobs my doctor was so mortified he stopped poking my boob and left the room. My mom was a bit slower
It is hard to keep track of so many people! I'm Shoshin and I only post sporadically, but read quite a bit. I live in Indiana and was dx'd with MS last November after six years of being told I had idiopathic peripheral neuropathy.

Hi Erin. It is very nice to meet you. My name is Julie and I'm from Virginia. I recently got pretty sick and was diagnosed in May with partial acute transverse myelitis. I am still recovering from that illness and am also being followed by a neurologist for possible MS. I joined the group in July after finding the MedHelp forums by accident and feel very privileged in having the opportunity to meet so many nice people in one place.
I am Shelly but prefer Shell :) I am from Ontario Canada have been dealing with everything for about 15 months and was diagnosed 2 months ago today with M.S
I am Rena
I am from Alberta, Canada
I am diagnosed twice but have been told that my disease is "inactive" and therefore am being denied the disease modifying drugs so I may as well be in limbo-land.
I'm Holly from Missouri. I have been dx with transverse myelitis for now, been having symptoms for about a year. I have lesions in my c-spine, and a couple in my brain that are tiny and might be vascular. My symptoms are mild.
Well hello Lori from Alabama and welcome to Medhelp (I had to scroll up cause I forgot the name haha the fog earlier I was lonely and procrastinating but now I'm mostly torturing my kids by not leting them on)
Erin
