Very good news! I hope it is a very productive appointment!
I just read the notes on my file that my Neuro entered. It says:
The pattern of T2 and flair abnormality is highly suggestive of multiple sclerosis. This was again discussed with the patient and she expressed understanding. The lumbar puncture, however, was negative, but this can be negative in about 1/3 of patients. I recommended a second opinion by Dr G and the patient is in agreement with that plan.
She also wrote:
We have obtained visual evoked responses which showed a T100 of 105.3 on the left and 108.3 on the right.
Thanks Shell! I will do that!
Good luck on Wednesday Sandy! Don't be worried : ( You just be you and describe what you are dealing with.
If you haven't done so already, and even though you've been through a neuro appt., visit the 'doctor prep' health page for a quick read when you have a chance - excellent tips in there!

Thanks Laura, Wobbly, and Deb.
Wow Sandy!
This is truly a win!
I wish you all the best!
Take care,
Deb
That is quick, I'm glad you don't have to wait along time. Let us know how it goes and hope you find some answers..

Sandy, I'm sure it just speaks of your doctor's referral helping you with getting an appointment sooner. :-)
Laura
I hope that's not a bad sign that I got in so quickly. I hope this doctor is really a good one.
Wow, Sandy, that's amazing! I made an appointment with an MS specialist in Chicago back in May and they gave me an appointment for the 20th of August. I'm excited for you and hope this one will have some answers for you.
Laura
I also heard the MS neuro is really nice and a good doctor.
Finally, something happens in real time instead of neurotime.
That's next week!! double yay!!
