Erin,
Thank you so much. wishing you the best
Linda
Linda,
I was on one a couple of years ago called Rituxan (sp?) It was not approved for MS yet but I got it under the dx of RA. I thought it was helping my MS slow down until I ended up with auto-immune hemolytic anemia.
I was in the hospital for blood transfusions and was quite sick for months before they could get my red blood cells back.
Last I heard it was one of the meds making it's way through the trials to be released. I hope that anyone changing over to a "new" med does some homework first because I worry that the "side effects" will be awful.
Get some rest - I hope your flare goes quickly
Erin :)
I was at the neuro's office last wednesday the 4th. I mentioned how i hated taking avonex (I'm getting tired of the big needle) It's been well over 10 years or more, I stopped counting the years As i was leaving she mentioned (the PA) there is a new chemo drug comming out. I was so over whelmed i did not think to ask what it was. I am in an attack right now and have to rest. Tthank you your response and I hope you are doing ok
Linda
