back from my wedding

Hi guys!  I'm back from my wedding.  Everything thing went so well!  It rained everyday we were there, and the outdoor wedding site was FLOODED on Friday night when we went for rehearsal.  We were being told that we would have to get married in the tent, or even the reception hall.

BUT...it cleared up Saturday, the site was pumped, and I got the outdoor site I wanted!  The ceremony was beautiful, the reception went well...it was just a happy day overall.  I managed to stay relatively pain free most of the week, until, of course, it was about time to walk down the aisle.  I had been standing a lot (which is never a good thing for me) in order to not wrinkle my dress.  By the time the ceremony started, I was in some pain, and by pictures afterwards, I was hurting pretty badly!  I made the best of it though, and pushed myself probably further than I should in order to get some cool pictures.  I figured the pain will likely be there for a long time, but I paid good money for professional pics and I wanted some good ones!  :)

On Sunday I had a really wierd thing happen...I bent my head forward and got an electrical sensation down my neck and back.  It wasn't painful, but it felt so wierd!  I'd heard about this before being related to MS, but had never experienced it myself.  Does anyone else experience this?

Also, last night when I was going to sleep, I had another wierd thing...I was laying on my stomach and my whole arm seemed to "jump" from one part of the pillow to the other.  I've had leg jerks for awhile, especially at night, but never my arm and never so pronounced.  It was my left arm, the side where all my other symptoms are coming from.  Any feedback would be much appreciated!

Anyway, hope all is well with everyone.  Thanks in advance for any responses!  Angela

Congratulations!  I'm so glad it was a lovely day for you!  I'm also glad you kept a great attitude and persevered.  It says a lot about you.  There will be days you won't feel like doing that, smiling through it all, or can't, and that's OK too.  It's great you could for your special day.

Was your husband great?  Did he notice you weren't feeling so hot?  I wish the two of you the very best!  God's blessings!

HI Angela - Congrats on the lovely wedding day! Just a quick mention on Lhermittes sign.  I have that as well.  I have since prior to the onset of my episode (didn't know what it was), however, mine was when I would look down, I would get a buzzing at the base of my bottom, like in the tailbone.  I still have it, however, now, those sensations,  buzzing, numbness, etc., I feel it in my legs and sometimes arms.  As soon as I lift my head, it goes away. My neuro said to me on the 1st visit that it was LHermittes, and that he believed I had a lesion in my spine.  Upon further MRI's, he was correct - he said that it's consistent w/that lesion, which was one of my larger ones. Hope this helps - be well,
SL

Congratulations and God's blessings on you and your husband... so happy to hear the wedding day was sunny and wonderful!
As for the leg twitching... i have that too ( just started a few weeks ago)... not sure either what is the cause... as for the electrical sensation in the neck/ spine when you look down... i believe that i read a few of the ladies have had that it is called Lhermittes syndrome... check with Quix, i think she has that too...
Enjoy your new married life and stay well. I will keep you in my prayers.
GOD Bless,
Frann
