neurologist visit this morning

So I went to go over the results of my last MRI.  The doctor said there have been no changes, and that my brain is "stable" at this point.  He doesn't think I have MS.  He also didn't see a need for me to have to visit again.  He said I can follow up with my regular doctor.

I'm so glad he doesn't think I have MS.  But then why do I have lesions on my brain?  Is this a common thing?  I just didn't have the energy to ask any questions.  I have been to so many different doctors in the past couple months, it is exhausting.

Now I have to deal with this gastritis and GERD diagnosis.  I had an endoscopy yesterday.  He did some biopsies because he thought my esophagus looked abnormal.

Anyway, I guess I don't really need to be on this forum for now.  I am going to change my primary, because she has been of zero help with this epstein barr virus that I have had since March.  I am exhausted all the time and she has no suggestions.

Take care, everyone!  I hope everyone on here gets the answers and help they need!

Maureen,

I'm glad to hear that you will be getting another opinion. The whole thing is exhausting from doctor to doctor and test to more tests but you have to keep pushing.

Gastro issues are a bummer - I have been seeing a gastro doc since 1992 when I had a huge chunk of my colon out so I can relate!

Just to add one more to those above - you should stay right here MS or not! We have lots of limbo landers and even those of us with MS have all kinds of fun other health issues, lol. We can relate to almost anything.

Hang in there and keep us posted
Hugs,
Erin :)

Thanks everyone!

I am not comfortable with the doctors decision.  So I will be monitoring my own symptoms and keeping a journal.  If I feel like things are getting out of hand or worse, I will seek a second opinion.

For now, I will deal with my gastro issues!  If its not one thing, its another.

Thanks again, everyone here is so awesome!

As Alex had said you are always Welcome to stay here on the Forum and either post, or Lurk around to learn new things and ideas.

I am glad that you are comfortable w/ your Doctors Dx. I guess for now, I would just keep a Journal as to signs and symptoms you may experience or ones that you currently have that may come and go or get worse and so on.

Hope everything works out for you :)  Keep in touch.

Maureen,
We welcome everyone on the Forum for ever. Second I do not know what to say about the lesions. Third I had a really bad case of EBV mono a few years back. It took a good year to get over. My Primary Care did nothing but after much research since it is a virus there was nothing she could do. I had to drink as much water as possible to flush the Virus and I took a bunch of supplements. I am pretty much over it now. If I get to tired I will run a low grade fever. I went on a strictly healthy diet and slowly started walking. At first 15 min.

Good luck.

Alex
