GMS Blood Test

I am just wondering if anyone has had this particular blood test?
http://www.gms.net/gmsnet/inpage.asp?gmstest=2&page=96

They have two tests, one for DX and the other is supposed to be a indicator of risk of rapid progression in MS.

I am headed to a MS Neuro on the 23rd and I am just educating myself as to options, I am wondering if I would even want to know if it could be rapidly progressing MS.

Would you want to know????
Have a wonderful weekend.

My understanding is that this test is meant to replace the current Lumbar Puncture since it is less invasive with similar meaning for the results. Just like a LP test if positive along with clinical history, MRI, and the like you have MS.  If negative you could still have MS.

C,
I had this blood test done and I tested positive on the DX test.  My neuro used it as a rule in, along with clinical attacks and a spot on my spine MRI, I'm on a DMD. I was honestly shocked when it came back positive because I had felt crazy for so long.
