Hi,
you;ve about hit the nail on the head there.
Obviously you can't get treatment if you can't get diagnosed. So key is to focus on getting diagnosed.
This can mean finding a second and third opinion, if necessary, and specifically from a MS specialist, as not all neuros are MS specialists or up to date on treatment approaches. However, if the diagnosis really cannot be made then obviously no treatment will happen.
Some neuros will treat based on a clinically isolated episode, others want to see confirmed clinical test based evidence and won't treat unless they have it.
Hope this helps.
