Progressive Multiple Sclerosis & Prolactin Levels ?

Hey everyone,
In the past month or so my balance is really off. But that is not the kicker.  At 56 years old- I am lactating !  Along with the milky yuck -which shot out like a bullet came a stream of bright red blood.  My Mamo was done in Dec and it was good.  What next Lord?

I was already scheduled for my yearly brain MRI w & w/o, so I called my M S doc and told the sweet friendly nurse all about my new "mommy has milk" phase.  After being told by my daughter  who was diagnosed with Pituitary Microadenomia (sp?)-brain tumors, that her prolactin levels indicated brain problem alerts-I asked the nurse if maybe we should include a specific "Pituitary" MRI along with the other neck & brain I have set up this month.  I also asked her if she had ever heard of M S and sudden Lactation?

So she tells me in her " handle this delicately voice", that no she had not ever heard of this issue with their 380 M S patients. Puts me on hold and comes back within 1 minute (which was rare).  Come in for blood work tomorrow Pam and if your prolactin levels are unusual the doc will order a very specific pituitary  MRI test along with my yearly. I asked if I should be worried -but she said I could have a simple milk duct infection or gland issue and don't panic..

So- now after being diagnosed with Progressive M S I need to also worry about some pituitary problems?  Excuse me but I did not do well in anatomy classes and I thought the brain was the pituitary? God I feel so stupid and scared now!  Guess I better run over to the index and find out what the .... I was thinking the brain was !

The more I forget-the more I have to remember!! What part of my brain is dead now for heavens sake??  Just call me DUH !

Dr. said prolactin level is good, milk ducts are clear-but still bloody milk. And yes- the dr. says it is my hormones? By now the bloody is gone but the eshopogus is trying to block my meds. Gets stuck mid way.   Maybe an upper G I is what I need-God knows this ole gal has heard it all-except the "C" word.  Aksing for prayers on that one.  My life would be over with everything else I have going on. Progressive-Relapsing MS, Diverticulitus, CFS, new bladder "surprises", sharp pains all around the shoulders and neck AND arthritis in 6 areas of this old Army gal.  Friends tell me chemical exposure on post- we were succepted to chemicals such as TCE, PCB, AO, Cobalt 60, Vaxin, Mustard gas and many others. I think it is time for a VA claim before this old body gives out.  Just plain done.

I'm so sorry.  Sometimes it feels relentless, doesn't it?  I am also having a gland problems which may/may not be related to MS -- haven't slept in months.

No advice at all ... just I understand.
