What the doc and Laura said! With that history, someone should be monitoring you carefully already.

Mary,
Please do not hesitate to seek immediate medical attention if you think there is the most remote chance of this being heart related. Time is muscle when it comes to heart problems. I know first hand, having had a heart attack last January.
You don't have to be old to have a heart attack. Young women as well as women my age do have heart attacks, and usually our symptoms don't look anything like we've seen portrayed on television or in the movies.
Please talk to your doctor and get a full workup done - with your family history you are at a greater risk of presenting with heart problems.
Take no chances, please!
Laura
Hi, Welcome to our forum! From what you tell us, I don't think any of us can tell you what the cause of your pain and weakness is. But, from your family history you should be under the watchful eye of your primary doctor with a consultation from a cardiologist. If you haven't tlod a physician about the arm and neck pain, you should do this immediately. Women can present very unusually with heart pain and it appears you have some real risk for this.
After your heart has been thoroughly checked out and you have been checked for diabetes, then if nothing has been found they can look for a neurological (nerve) reason for your pain.
I think you call your doctor immediately and if the squeezing pain continues today, but you can't see your doctor, then you should go to the ER.
