Temperature issues

Does anyone else here not seem to 'notice' the temperature?  Today I've been getting around in a woollen jersey and my temperature felt okay (to me anyway) whereas my hubby was wearing a T-shirt because it's 22 degrees C outside.

I've now taken my jersey off and don't feel any different temperature wise.  The really bad pain I've had in my upper spine and ear have abated significantly too, interestingly.

I'm completely cursing myself.  The upper spine pain was bought on by a visit to the physio this morning as I thought I'd see whether I could do anything about the shocking neck pain I've had for the past 15 months, but worse over the last two weeks.  Before I took my jersey off the pain was 10 times worse than it was before I went and instead of being up the side of my spine, it's now in my central spine going into my head making me want to vomit.   Some things really are best left alone - I'll learn one day.

Thanks Alex, it means a lot.

With a bit of experimenting yesterday we've figured out that heat has been responsible for a lot of my pain (and inability to see the computer screen) these past few months.  The weather has been really nice here over the past two weeks and hence the worsening of the neck pain.

I'm guessing this means it's likely to be Uhthoff's phenomenon too, with it's inherent ramifications.  I shed a few tears over that one yesterday.

Onwards and upwards though.

I am sorry for your pain. It is no fun. I do not know exactly what causes my pain. Some is Cancer and some MS. I have a good pain Specialist. It has taken awhile to get on the right meds for me. Everyone is different. WE have to tweak things every once in a while. I am more active now that I am on pain meds., which seems a paradox.

Hang in there I care.
