Thanks for your views, it's hard to tell whats up any more with all these meds, every specialist gives me at least two pills. My family Doctor is not concerned about the low pressure, he said it's better than high pressure if you don't feel faint from exercise.
Tommorrow I get blood drawn to see if the Hep C is gone for good, I will find out in early August. I hope they can get blood but not to much.
Harry

I had borderline high blood pressure several years ago, that I was able to get under control with diet, exercise, and dandelion root tea. I continued working out and kept a healthy BP and heartrate.
Since my symptoms started with a vengeance in February, I haven't been able to exercise much, and was afraid my BP would go up. Instead, it is steadily dropping; last doctor's visit it was 100/62. I feel like they are connected, but I am undiagnosed, so I'm not sure what my input is worth.
Just be careful about standing up too fast! That is all that concerns my doc; that I will pass out or at least lose my balance because of it taking to long for the blood to get to my brain.
I think I'll go check out Deb's websites.
Stay cool!
Kathy
I've researched this and can find a correlation, but there's not much information about MS and blood pressure.
I have high blood pressure (for the most part), but used to have problems with low blood pressure. My blood pressure does fluctuate between low and high and wonder if autonomic nervous system dysfunction is part of the problem.
Here's a couple of web sites I've found with a correlation between autonomic nervous system dysfunction and MS:

I have high blood pressure so I don't think that it is related. I was dx with high blood pressure before being dx with MS. My neuro never related the two so for me it seems the good ole gene pool is what the blood pressure is from. I was dx with high blood pressure in my late 20's and now I am 31. Dr's can't figure out why at such a young age I would have high blood pressure but they related it to genes! Gotta love the family tree!!LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope you are able to get it figured out and you may need to push the issue with your doc to get it resolved!
Best of health to you,
Debra
I'm not sure either but mine lately has runned very low. I use to run normal to low. When I was in the hospital I was running double digits like you. The nurses would always ask me if that was normal for me. Sometimes they would have to get an old blood pressure cuff out because they couldn't get it on the newer digital cuffs.
I think my medication had a lot to do with my blood pressure being low.
Hi!
I am not Dx'd, but probable. I have very low blood pressure. It normally runs about 90/60. Even 70/50 when I am sick. Sometimes the nurse never gets a pulse! Haha. I don't know if it is related to MS, although I think I read an article about it somewhere.
I have had it most of my life. I have also been very active in exercise, and I am a completed mellow type of person! So, I do know that it causes a lot of my dizziness when standing up from tieing my shoes! My docs never seem concerned either, so I have never brought it up. Maybe someone else knows :)
