missed dose of Lyrica

Is it possible for one missed dose of Lyrica to wreck me?? I notice that if I forget to take it at night I get night sweats and don't sleep well until I remember that I forgot and get up to get my pill.
Last night I was out cuz I forgot to pic up my script.  I could not get up this morning.    I could not drive to get my script.  I have never felt this horrible.  I changed my neuro appt from next week to tomorrow.

When hubby got home we ran to get my Lyrica.  I took it and 2 hours later I was up doing the dishes.  Can Lyrica honestly make that huge of a difference or is this more of a placebo effect??

Lyrica helped me with the pain, but I had some silly side-effects, like Khiba it made me feel stupid, and I noticed that I was getting frequent chaps in my lip, so I too weaned myself off of it, but I spoke to my neuro also. It's trial and error as Khiba say's, but if it worries you maybe you should take to your neuro/doc.

When I was taking Lyrica, missing one dose did me in too! When it wore off , the symptoms, such as nerve pain for me, came raging back. I finally weaned off it and feel much better even though I cannot move as easily. I can see much better now as the Lyrica affected my eyesight. I think it also made me feel stupid.

Now I do very well with a combination of low doses of valium and baclofen. I think drugs work differently for different folks. :) Its a trial and error process of finding what works for each person. :)
