hand tremors...a week after steroid treatment

I'm 19, got diagnosed 2 weeks ago. had my first symptoms about a year and a half ago. Anyway, I had a three day course of methylprednisolone last week and have had minimal results from it. My double vision hasnt cleared up, while i was getting the steroids it actually was made worse for a couple days. The only thing positive to really come from it has been less neuropathic pain(burning and stinging sensations all over). And since then, i've even been getting new symptoms. Starting a few days ago, when I noticed an annoying stiffness in my right leg.

Just now, my left hand has started shaking violently whenever i open it. Typing this is very hard right now because of it. Now my doctor said she was pretty sure I had relapse remitting, but shouldnt I have had a little more time before new stuff like this popped up? I'm not sure if i will ever have a period of remission to the point where i can be able to just function normally again. What do you guys think? Maybe i actually have secondary progressive?
Will this tremor eventually go away?
Is the fact that the steroids didnt help me very much a bad sign?

I'm pretty sure I just had a relapse last month

I have my next neuro appointment on friday so i'll just wait to bring it up then.

And so many of the people here are experts in their own way about this disease and willing to share advice.

As for the remitting part of RRMS, it is hard to project when these relapses will end.  The same with the remissions - their timing is  a mystery, too.  I believe you need to be symtom free for about 30 days before it is considered a new relapse - it sounds to me like this is a continuation of the same relapse.  

It would be unusual for your to have SPMS immediately - it is mainly the natural progression of RRMS.

Don't read too much into whether the steroids helped or not - you will make yourself crazy with that question.  Did you contact your neurologist about these problems?  That is where I would go next.
