my latest MRI report

Happy Saturday morning everyone....

I've lost count of how many brain MRI'S  I've had,  however this MRI appears to be stable according the the Radiologist report-   It's really up to the MSlogist to interpret the scan..  that just one of many things we have learned from this forum.

Here's my brief history-  and not on any DMD'S

Six brain lesions  first scan I had two lesion, one scan a lesion did enhance
Delayed VEP and well preserved
One, O band
One spinal Cord Lesion, second cord lesion suspicious
RIght eye Scleritis
confirmed working memory issues, confirmed by Neuro-phys testing

                      Finding

again see are six hyper intense T2?Flair signal lesion scatter in the supratentorial white matter,  including prominent lesion lesion along the superolateral aspect of the lateral ventricular bodies bilaterally and the fight frontal lobe white matter anterior to lentiform nucleus.  Lesion are also redemostrated within the left aspect of the corpus callosum.  specifically within the genu splenium.  A punctuate lesion is seen in the left temporal lobe white matter.  No new or enhancing lesions.

                    Impression
No significant interval change from prior exam- no new or enhancing lesion.

Over all I think this is a good report,   however I know the damage is done..
my take is they seemed to see the lesion much better?
I have F/U on 10-1-2012  with Dr..

take care everyone
JB

I would agree with you that you meet the McDonald criteria for an MS diagnosis, especially with an enhancing lesion and also lesion in your spine. Lesions in your brain can be related to several other things other than MS, but just a few things cause lesions in your spine.

I'm sure you'll let us know what the neuro says when you have your follow-up visit.

No DX sill after all these years.
It does appear that  most of the lesions are in the
classic area's for MS.

I still have trust in my DR..

I know the worst thing is to self DX- but it appears
to me that I have met the 2010 McDonald criteria .

maybe I haven t  kept a good history of SX for
The Dr to give me the final Dx.

Thanks for concerns..

Hi JB,
Glad your MRI is stable. I forget are youdiagnosed yet? The lesion in hte corpus callosum is prime real estate for MS as very few other lesions occupy this space.

Let us know what the doc says.

Until then take care,
Ren

Now the ball is in the doctor's court and I hope he can make a decision as to how and what to treat you for.  Hang in there, L
