Oh I forgot to add, that I had the full cardiac workup, with the treadmill, echo, some nuclear injection test with pictures, the holster moniter, you name it, after I had my son and continued to be ill. (I also had chest pain). And none of those things picked up this.
All the best

Hello Bugs,
I'm sorry to hear your daughter is suffering. It is so difficult, even moreso when its our children.
I guess sometimes migranes can be caused by small blood clots passing through into the brain, something like that, they are studying. The clots can also cause TIA's. I just came up positive on a TCD with bubble. Saline bubbles passed over into the brain and were not filtered out like supposed to be. This usually means a 'hole in the heart' (that was there from when each person was a fetus I guess - I am just learning about this) The clots then can pass through that hole and go onto the brain.
I had one doctor diagnose me with MS, but my regular Neuro, whom I trust with my whole heart, disagreed and looked furthur into other problems and found this.
I do not have any eye changes though and my VEP was normal.
So this might be something to ask about or your doctor might already have it in mind?
Many thoughts,
Jazzy
bugsbol, I just bumped up Jazzy's story . . . it has some info on TIA (mini strokes). I'm sure others will chime in that are better informed than I.
