I was on carbamazapine (to treat L'Hermittes phenomenon mainly) which the neurologist stopped due to side effects, now I have Acetazolamide (sounds like it can strip paint), anyone heard of this?

any yucky side effects I might look forward to??

Thanks Heather, I googled it and it seems to be used to treat epilepsy among other things so it probably works in a similar way to the carbamazapine but hopefully won't have yucky side effects this time

The best place to look is in the "Google" search engine.  It will give you all the information you need to know about the drug.   I personally have never heard of it.

All the Best,
Heather
