new to ms

I have not been dx with MS yet, and was wondering how quick it progresses. I started out having numbness and tingling in my hands 4 myths ago. Now have numbness and tingling all over, dizziness, pain in the ribs, burning sensations, get zapped every now and then, legs hurt so bad feel like they are locking up, bottom of feet hurt, I was vomiting in the morning....now I have head pressure and hurts to touch the side of my head

It is different for every person. I have had MS since 1965. I get no treatment. It has been stable for years.  I got double vision, vertigo, headaches, cognitive problems in 1965 that have never gone away but stable since then.

Hi Rek -

Seeing a NEURO will help - my PCP diagnosed me with Sinusitis when I had my first flare up of Optic Neuritis and was blind in one eye. :)

The good news is that you are taking steps to get diagnosed or to find out what is truly going on with you.

Good luck to you and keep us posted!

Hi Rek - Welcome to our group.

As a rule MS, the disease, does not move all that fast. Individual MS relapses can come on and progress quickly.

Some of the symptoms you descirbe are common in MS, like pani in the ribs (MS hug?) and dizzyness. Other things not so much, like pain when touching the side of your head.

Are you seeing a neurologist?
