The websites that both give 18 to 50 hour half life for clonazepam are:
www.druginfonet.com/index and www.mentalhealth.com/drug
Hope this helps

The site said "18 to 50 hours" - beats me! Quite a range, when you think about it. I'll find the site again, and I'll put it up for you. Just got in from work.

A half life of 50 hours?? or 5 hours? Q
Hi thanks hmm I wonder if there was some residual effect still left . They gave me my normal tablet at 6 pm on a wednesday and i had the nerve conduction at 10.00am friday morning so in fact I would have been in the 40hr range I think ! Makes me wonder though?
OK, I looked it up myself (yes, I should be getting ready for work, but...). According to Druginfonet, the half-life is only up to 50 hours, so I sit corrected:) It would have been at least close to if not completely out in 48 hours. I guess it doesn't "hang" with the meds we deal with @ work.

Sorry! I keep forgetting you're not the Great Karnac=)

Oh well told you I had a durrr!!!! brain lol ................ thanks anyway
I was hoping you wouldn't ask that particular question....I'd have to look up the half-life of clonazepam, and even then I still wouldn't know what tissue concentration might affect the test. It really is a question for a neuromuscular specialist. So as the famous poster requests: "Would you take your silly a** question down the hall, please?"
yeh...Quix will know....I know! Let's give to Mikey! He'll eat anything!" walks off muttering.....don't know, had to admit it....where's my kitty when I need her?....nobody's perfect, That's what i shoulda told'em. Anybody could flush their socks down the toilet............i need a nap.
thanks I dont know myself but it just seems odd that it started up again day after . I didnt bother taking it cos i thought omg its gone !
You weren't on it all that long yet, I guess, but it surely was still in your system. At work we tell folks it takes about a month for meds to build up to therapeutic levels, and about the same to leave your system. Got that from our psych docs, but should still apply since clonazepam is also used for anxiety (and migraines... seems they use every drug off label anymore). Doctor Quix will know. She'll correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi Its a test I had three yrs ago I was on 2mg 3 x day for 6 weeks before I had the test . I asked the neuro at the time and she said oh wont be in your systemm in 48 hrs butI think she was wrong !myoclonus started back up the following day as soon asi tried to walk so to me it was still in my system ! I agree how the heck are you supposed to know if they all do differnt ?
Have you been on it long? How many X's a day do you take it? It seems very unlikely that it would be out of your system to any significant degree in only 2 days. Funny, I was told to hold my meds for one NCT with one neuro and not to for a NCT for another. Seems no 2 docs do things the same way. No wonder we're confused:)
