MS or not?

My neurologist said with only one lesion in the pons, it can't be MS. But since the lesion is increasing in size, another dr said it could be MS and wants to do a spinal tap. What should I do?

A spinal tap may show something and it may not. I had one and it helped me get my MS diagnosis. I was sedated for mine.

What else makes you think it could be MS?

I would do the spinal tap. I am going to a new neurologist in April who is going to do one on me. It can be painful I've heard but it can help out with figuring stuff out.
