Eye Problem

I can't remember if I've ever posted on this before, but if I did it's still occuring.  For at least the past 2 months, and probably more like 3, I've been having this issue with my left eye where it almost constantly feels like there is something in it.  It just feels like a piece of dust or an eyelash or something.  When I check it, there's nothing in there.  I had talked to the neuro about it in November and he told me there wasn't anything wrong with my eye when he checked it.  He did a blood test for Sjorgens (sp?) which came back negative.  But that was almost 2 months ago and I'm still having this...does anyone know what this could be?  Thanks in advance, Angela

Yes, go see an ophthalmologist and have them check for iritis or even uveitis, as that kind of inflammation can cause the irritation and dryness even.

Hi Angela.

I agree with Kristin.  Please go see an opthamologist.   ANd have your eyes checked.  It may be nothing to do with the MS.  there are also some really good lubricating eye drops that may make a ll the difference to how you feel.

Have you seen an ophthalmologist?  They can put yellow drops in your eyes to see if there are any abrasions anywhere that are not visible to the naked eye.  I would also think that with your MS that somehow a sensory nerve involvement could be the culprit.
Take care!

has anyone told you about having Dry Eyes?  Have you tried drops?  I'm not sure if it would help or not?
