To. OHWILD,

quit those Dam things about 26 years ago!! cold turkey!!  and had very bad withdraws. I smoked about  a pack and a haft a  day!!!  I never did it for myself I did it beacouse of my husband , was concerned about my health. but anyways I bought LOTS OF HARD CANDY!!! jaw brakers , hard type and stayed real busy!!!
I smoked for about 6-7 years.

Just THINK of what chemicals you are putting in you body... so very bad for you!!  OOO and, I was a *****.... I hated everything around me....  I would say about 6 months later I had a few puffs and OMG I was so dizzy and sick that i never had another puff for a long time!!!! and then that other puff even more sicker it made me!!!  an  the smell makes me sooooooooooo sick today.

NO MORE CIGS for me,

THEY ARE A WASTE OF THE ONLY LIFE YOU HAVE!!!

JUST THINK OF ALL THE VERY BAD CHEMICALS YOU ARE PUTTING IN YOUR BODY, THATS VERY SICKING TO ME. QUIT THOSE THINGS, THEY ARE JUST THINGS....

AND THEY ARE PROVEN TO TAKE YOUR  LIFE  AND LOVED ONES AWAY!!
I hope this helps.

Hang in there. As a former smoker I know how hard it is to stop. Cold turkey is how I did it, but it was NOT easy :>.  Know you have people here sending you lots of positive thoughts and energy!!! You CAN do it. Keep us posted on how it goes.

Good luck to you! Are you quitting cold turkey? HUmmmm, I like cold turkey. I tried the pills, and they worked great. My problem is I only took them 2 months. I needed longer. I made a 10hr car trip, and ended up going back to smoking. Will try again July 1. Having surgery (sinus) in Aug, and need to quit 6 weeks before. Wishing you the best. Please give us updates!       Maggie

I have to quit too! I haven't started yet because it has to be a group effort because my husband smokes too and I can't quit if he doesn't.

I wish you the best. Keep pushing even when it gets hard and don't give up. You can do it!

Take Care

Good luck to you! I still haven't been able to quit yet.

Got the pills, but was afraid to take them.  Had heard they could cause Neurological issues.  So, I decided to try them out on the hubby 1st. (that wasn't very nice, I know) Didn't tell him what I had read.

After a few weeks in, he started saying to me that he kept forgetting stuff, was cutting things all backward, etc (he's a carpenter).  I said, OMG, that happens to me all the time! LOL....I then told him, oh yea, I read they could cause neuro probs - - he said oh, thanks ALOT, and threw them out!

ha/ha. . .I still get a good laugh about it, though on some level, he experienced a bit of what a lot of us do every day - heck of a way to make em' relate!

be well,
and good luck to ya,
-SL
