strange night time day time symtoms MS?

Hello- and thanks for reading-
for the past 6 weeks i have strange regyular symptms. started 10 weeks ago with crawling feeling right of mid spine and some right arm pain. about 6 weks ago woke up in sleep with extremities numb right arm foot, left foot.
noe wake up every night with similaar usually just right arm now. right arm feels numb/or weak during day but not pins and needles. calves and knees tight during day and have had muscle twitching that was bad until i eliminated caffeine--was a regular high consumer until 2 weeks ago.
feet especially last three toes on right fall asleep sitting 3-4 times a dya and some mid back pain.

went to chiro, not really any help, having xrays--should i schedule with neuro for work up and mri
GP tested for diabetes--negative and did basic neoro test and didnt find clinical weakness
any ideas, symptoms are scaring me and fatiguing. does this sound like mechanical disc issue or something more sinister like MS

It hard to say whether or not it is MS but I would definitely get worked up by a neuro when you get a chance. They need to figure out why you are getting these sensations and this weakness.

If you look to the upper right hand corner...read the Health Pages. It's loaded with information and takes you through a lot of the diagnosis process of MS and it's mimics.

By the way

Hi J1635,

Sorry we missed your post.  The 1st page is flying!

Welcome to the MS forum.  Sorry you are feeling badly. These symptoms are scary.  Is your GP willing to send you to another Dr to pursue what might be going on?

That would be my next step - just simply ask the GP what could be the cause and if she or he says "don't know" just ask if you could be referred to someone else.

I'm sorry the caffeine elimiation didn't work to stop the issue, but it sure does help w/coping w/the symptoms  ....did for me anyway.

Thanks for joining us!
