I've had that burning skin pain for quite a few years. I get it on both legs, right leg worse. It sometimes stings as if alcohol is applied to an open wound. Not fun. Since there is nothing actually wrong with the areas that hurt, this is a neuropathic pain known as paresthesia. Our Health Pages have a lot about this.

Your eye symptoms are classic. Please see an ophthalmologist as soon as you can. If your doctors keep hesitating, these problems should get their attention.
